The multi-agency Taskforce for Regional Autotheft Prevention (TRAP) shares information on California’s temporary license plates, which received a major overhaul in 2019, in an effort to reduce the opportunities for criminals to circumvent stolen vehicle identification, tolls, and traffic cameras.
