LA Found: Critical Missing Persons & Project Lifesaver

The LA Found program is a collaboration between the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the Department of Workforce Development, Aging and Community Service and Project Lifesaver International to provide potentially life-saving resources to individuals with Alzheimer’s or autism, who are at-risk for wandering.

This video explains the LA Found program, and the tracking technology used in Project Lifesaver wristbands, which can be located using specialized RF ID equipment used by the LASD Mental Evaluation Team.
